Jena Art Collection

The art collection of the city of Jena includes a variety of works of painting, graphics and sculpture as well as object art. The collection focuses on 20th century art, from classical modernism and art of the GDR to national and international contemporary art. In special exhibitions in recent years, renowned artists such as Wassiliy Kandinski, Emil Nolte, Auguste Rodin and August Macke have been exhibited in Jena.
